subagent-tuner
subagent-tuner · by Aleh Kruhlikau
Chooses the model and reasoning effort of every subagent: ask before it starts, recommend by task kind, or apply a saved default over what the agent requested.
❯ /plugin marketplace add SeongGwangJu/k-mods ❯ /plugin install subagent-tuner@k-mods
$ claude plugin marketplace add SeongGwangJu/k-mods $ claude plugin install subagent-tuner@k-mods
Run /reload-plugins to apply it to an open session. Needs Claude Code 2.1.287 or later.
Notes
- Runs started with
claude -p, SDK hosts and forks are left untouched. - A band above the prompt switches between Manual (asks) and Auto (the saved default wins); the question is a pane beside the transcript on terminals 144 columns or wider, dialogs otherwise.
- Manual is the mode after install, so every subagent launch asks first: the pane goes ahead after ten minutes without an answer, the dialogs wait until answered. Switch to Auto before leaving a session to run on its own.
- A saved default wins over the model and effort in an agent's definition (frontmatter). Without one, custom agents keep their own definition, and only built-in agents get the recommendation read from words such as review, fix or research.
- Needs Claude Code 2.1.295 or later.
